Dear Dr Uzodinma Adirieje,
As you know, I stand independent from – but very impressed by – the Afrihealth Optonet Association (AHOA). Every day you are echoed all over the world for your immensely important work, interviewing people like myself, teaching groups within different societal fields, discussing scientific progress, and pinpointing clinical progress. And all of this is against the future of your membership countries, economically, environmentally, and politically, regarding gender equality, human rights implementation, good governance initiation, sustainable democratic governing, and much more.
It excites me often to give reference to your name and your organization, knowing you stand for insights, quality work, development beyond the immediate tasks, and setting crucial healthcare standards.
It has been an honour to communicate with you over the years and to feel myself associated with the Afrihealth Optonet Association (AHOA).
With my very best regards
Yours sincerely
Olle Johansson, professor, retired – but still active – from the Karolinska Institute and the Royal Institute of Technology, both in Stockholm, Sweden
